1960 | Hans-Joachim Meister founds the 'Hans-Joachim Meister Entwicklungs- und Konstruktionsbüro Kassel', Langestraße. The locomotive manufacturer Henschel und Sohn of Kassel is counted among the first satisfied customers that soon include further well-known companies of the automotive and railway industry as well as the field of mechanical engineering as part of our customer base. |

1970 | The number of employees grows; a new, larger office building is built in Kassel, Fuhrmannsbreite 22. |
1982 | The first six CAD workstations are put into operation. |
1985 | Change in the corporate form of the partnership into a limited liability company, thus, becoming 'Hans-Joachim Meister Konstruktions- und Entwicklungs GmbH'. |
1989 | A second office building is built in the Fuhrmannsbreite 24. |
1996 | Establishment of the 'Meister Planung, Entwicklung und Konstruktions AG'. |
1998 | Stefan Meister and Andreas Hofmann are appointed to Meister AG’s management board. |
2000 | Meister marks the 40th anniversary of its establishment in April 2000. |
2006 | Internationalization, expansion of business activities on the Russian market. |
2010 | Meister marks the 50th anniversary of its establishment in April 2010. |
2011 | Introduction of a new corporate design. |
