Company History

1960 Hans-Joachim Meister founds the 'Hans-Joachim Meister Entwicklungs- und Konstruktionsbüro Kassel', Langestraße. The locomotive manufacturer Henschel und Sohn of Kassel is counted among the first satisfied customers that soon include further well-known companies of the automotive and railway industry as well as the field of mechanical engineering as part of our customer base.
1970 The number of employees grows; a new, larger office building is built in Kassel, Fuhrmannsbreite 22.
1982 The first six CAD workstations are put into operation.
1985 Change in the corporate form of the partnership into a limited liability company, thus, becoming 'Hans-Joachim Meister Konstruktions- und Entwicklungs GmbH'.
1989 A second office building is built in the Fuhrmannsbreite 24.
1996 Establishment of the 'Meister Planung, Entwicklung und Konstruktions AG'.
1998 Stefan Meister and Andreas Hofmann are appointed to Meister AG’s management board.
2000 Meister marks the 40th anniversary of its establishment in April 2000.
2006 Internationalization, expansion of business activities on the Russian market.
2010 Meister marks the 50th anniversary of its establishment in April 2010.
2011 Introduction of a new corporate design.
